An Indian Restaurant has incredibly received its sixth Gold Medal in recognition for its fantastic culinary excellence.
The delicious Chanpur Indian Restaurant, located in Donegal Town, received the prestigious award at the Taste of Donegal Food Festival.
That wasn’t the only recognition Chandpur received from culinary experts at the festival.
Their talented chef, Sultan, also got a Gold Medal, which was his first ever, in recognition for his outstanding culinary skills.
Manager of The Chandpur, Susan Miah told Donegal Daily, “We’re absolutely delighted to receive our sixth Gold medal, it’s an amazing testament to the hard work of all the management and staff, which helps maintain our reputation for providing wonderful food and excellent customer service.
“We’re also very proud of our amazing chef Sultan, he also received a Gold medal, and it’s extra special for him, as it’s his first ever Gold medal.”
The Taste of Donegal Food Festival started on Friday night with huge crowds attending on both Friday and Saturday, the town has been very busy and it looks like it will be another great weekend for the local economy.
