BUSINESS: The Homeland stores in Creeslough and Letterkenny (Ballyraine) last week were recognised by Customer Service Excellence Ireland for their consistency of great service to their customers.

Homeland is a brand operated by Aurivo and in total there are 37 Homeland stores across the counties of Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Westmeath and Galway.

They consist of former Donegal Creameries and Connacht Gold outlets with a dominant Agri-base customer.

Although strong in the farming sector, Homeland has moved considerably into the Homeware and DIY market with an impressive product range which has widened its customer base.

Staff at Creeslough and Letterkenny are part of an overall customer service programme which includes training and ongoing measurement of standards all aimed to capture great service in action in their stores.
