Warehouse Bar and Kitchen have announced that they are now sponsoring the Donegal Gaelic Masters Team for the forthcoming season.

The newly formed team will compete in this year’s Masters All Ireland Championships and are affiliated to the Gaelic Masters Association of Ireland, which is geared towards promoting Gaelic games for players over 40years who are still active within their respected counties.

Paul Gallagher, Chairperson of the Donegal Masters said, “We are delighted to be sponsored by the newly opened Warehouse Bar + Kitchen, who like ourselves are a new trend in Donegal with a vintage theme appeal.

“Masters Gaelic football is less about winning than it is about ensuring that our games are played in a spirit of competitive enjoyment alongside social interaction and camaraderie between all teams and players which shall be promoted as an important and integral feature of our competition.”

The Donegal Team has over 45 registered players and training for all games is held at Colaiste Ailigh in Letterkenny.

The team will play on Wednesday August 31st against Monaghan, with the match held in St. Mary’s CLG in Convoy, Donegal. This will be followed by two more group games against Cavan and Tyrone in September before the semi final and final games in October.

All post-match events and celebrations will be held at Warehouse Bar + Kitchen who are open daily for lunch and dinner.
