Div 3 League

Gaeil Fhánada v N Brid

The club were disappointed that the senior match v N Brid was unable to go ahead on Sunday last due to a mix up with referees which meant the match will have to be rescheduled. Apologies to all the supporters who braved the weather and were disappointed, especially all who travelled from Ballintra.

Mna Gaeil Fhánada

This was a rematch of the Corn Soisir na Gaeltachta back in May.  This has been an amazing year for our senior ladies reaching 3 County finals and winning all of them. Well done again ladies and congratulations on a great year.

U13 Girls

Excellent performance from our new team of girls. Unreal result for a first time team.
Cloughaneely 4:08 v Gaeil Fhánada 4:03.  Keep up the good work girls!

We have 2 games & a final day left this season.  Next game Gaeil Fhánada v Gweedore (home) on Monday 26th Sep @ 5.45pm.

Training continues every Monday evening 6pm.  Only 2 games & a final day left this season.
We play Termon on Saturday 1st October @ 11.30am.

U16 boys

Very well done to Gaeil Fhánada’s U16 boys on reaching the Division 2 Co. Final. They played a hard-fought entertaining game in Convoy today in very blustery conditions where N.Náille emerged as winners. Everyone in Gaeil Fhánada are very proud of you all and your management.

Comhghairdeas mór to our Senior keeper Brendan Friel and his fiancee Aisling McElwaine on the birth of their wee girl Fódhla. Congratulations! Another wee player for the Gaels!

Congratulations to our neighbours Milford Clg Baile Na NGalloglach who captured the Division Two league title l.ast weekend. Their recent achievements are a great inspiration to clubs around them that with the right attitude and commitment, anything is possible.  Well done to all involved with the success and hopefully we can rub shoulders with them in the very near future again.
