St Michael’s U16’s face Milford in championship clash this weekend

Many thanks to everyone who helped out at The Bridge last weekend during the Jazz and Blues festival. The feedback and comments from those that stayed with us were all very positive. Thanks to everyone.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto

There was no jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last.  The numbers drawn were 1,5,10,11,18,20.  The Match 5 winners were Adam Barr Strabane and Aoife and Maisie McCann Hornhead.  This weeks Jackpot be €2550.

The Club would like to thank Brian and Margaret Anne Dolan, Molly’s Bar Dunfanaghy, Seamus Sweeney Kildarragh Construction Philadelphia, Shaun Langan Creeslough Pallets and Michael McColgan Dunfanaghy for their continuing sponsorship of the lotto jackpot, it is very much appreciated.

Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

St. Michael’s Bingo Session

The €100 on the 5th Game at the Bingo Session in Dunfanaghy on Sunday night last was won by Mary Cullen Kill Dunfanaghy, the €100 on the 10th Game was won by Evelyn Toye Grogagh Creeslough.

Every house New Car if you check on 45 Numbers or less with the Lucky number in the Panel and also called in the first five numbers of that game.

The Magic Number from 1 to 90 is drawn out every Sunday night before the bingo begins.  In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €2550. The single book is €8, Double, Double Book €12, Sheet €2. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre.

This Months 50 Club Winners were: €65 Grace Ann O’Doherty Greenhill Dunfanaghy, €35 Shaun Breslin Drimnaraw, €25 May Cox Ards.

SOS for Photographs! Nicola is currently gathering photographs for the clubhouse. If anyone has ANY team photographs from winning senior, reserve, u21 or any underage teams in league/championship/Gaeltacht she would really appreciate if you let her know. All hard copies of the photos will be returned to you safely once we make a copy of them or likewise photos can be emailed to secretary.stmichaels.donegal@gaa.ie Please spread the word as the team photos required date back to 1967!! All help with this little project would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Club Gear

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michaels club gear in children and adult sizes.

Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

St. Michael’s Minor Board

U8s & U 10 s U8s and U10s  are hosting a blitz at the  Bridge on Saturday September 17th at 11.30 am with Downings and Cloughaneely.  No bus as most parents will be in attendance. Sandwiches and home baking would be greatly appreciated. Training continues as usual on Thursday evening 6-7pm. Bus leaving Creeslough 5.45pm; €3 for bus please.

U13s The boys play at home to Glenswilly Bon Friday September 16 th@7pm . Come along and support the boys.

U16s Under16’s were scheduled to play Convoy at the Bridge last Tuesday evening. On Sunday evening, September 18th they are away to Milford in a Championship game with throw in at 5.30pm.All support would be greatly appreciated. Next game then for the boys is scheduled away to Fanad on Sunday September 25th.
