A Donegal beach has been described as one of Ireland’s most beautiful beaches!

Stunning Portsalon Beach was described as being ‘Ireland’s most beautiful beach’ – and it’s hard to argue with that analysis.

It is one of the most awesome sights in the entire world, let alone Ireland on a beautiful sunny day!

Popular website ‘Ireland Before You Die’ was listing the 25 things to do and see on your bucket list before you kick the bucket!

Portsalon Beach deservedly featured in the bucket list, and the website wrote the following about the picturesque beach.

“Many people would consider this Ireland’s most beautiful beach, and it’s easy to see why.

“A very extensive sandy beach on the shores of Lough Swilly. It gently slopes towards the Atlantic ocean and is located in a Natural Heritage Area (NHA).

” The beach at Portsalon can be reached by travelling north east in the R246 from Carrowkeel to Portsalon.

“You have to see this incredible place before you die!”
