BRIDGET JONES’S BABY:

Loveable singleton Bridget Jones approaches motherhood in this latest entry of the smash-hit comedy series. 12 years after the events of The Edge of Reason, hapless Bridget (Renee Zellweger) is now in her forties and enjoying her role as a high-flying news producer, but is no longer with hunky beau Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). She’s therefore a bit surprised to find out that she’s pregnant – but who’s the father? Is it Mark, or her handsome new fella Jack Qwant (Patrick Dempsey)? One thing’s for sure: Bridget’s journey as she attempts to find out promises to be as hilarious and revealing as ever.

Returning to her Oscar-nominated signature role as bumbling Bridget, Renee Zellweger is again set to capture our hearts and tickle our funny bones alongside a host of returning favourites including Jim Broadbent, Gemma Jones and Sally Phillips, plus a terrific cameo from acting legend Emma Thompson.

Seventeen years ago, three students disappeared in the woods of Burkittsville, Maryland, while investigating the legend of a local witch. Audiences around the world were scared witless by ‘The Blair Witch Project’, which was compiled from their recovered documentary footage. Now some previously unseen film has been posted online. This prompts the brother of one of the missing to get in touch with the people who uploaded it in the hope of finding out what happened to his sister. Together, they return to the haunted woods.

Shot under a veil of secrecy, this petrifying sequel stays true to the spirit of the extraordinary original movie while taking advantage of advances in filmmaking technology to tell its story. The accomplished team of director Adam Wingard and writer Simon Barrett previously collaborated on ‘You’re Next’ and ‘The Guest’.
