Our U-21 footballers recorded a good win over Fanad Gaels at the weekend in the U-21 B Championship quarter final.

The seniors are in action in the semifinal of the Junior A Championship this Saturday evening at The Bridge in Dunfanaghy when they take on Downings. Throw in time is 5.30pm. All support welcome.

Our U-14 camogs were invited to take part in the inaugural camogie blitz at St Joseph’s, Ederney last Saturday. This was an eleven a side blitz with six teams involved from four different counties. The girls defeated Ederney and St Endas Omagh in the blitz leaving them in the A final. The girls played Derrylaughan in the final which was a close game but unfortunately the Gaels lost out.

Refreshments were provided after. This is to be an annual tournament and the Gaels had a very enjoyable morning of camogie and are looking forward to next year.  Thanks to Noel McAndrews & Ederney club and Clare Dowdall for organisation.

Training continues for the U-14 girls on Mondays from 6pm at Pairc na nGael & everyone welcome.

Training continues at Pairc na nGael on Friday from 6-7 pm for U-8 & U-10 girls. Contact Aideen 086 816 3605 for information

Club merchandise, which includes training tops, track-suits, jerseys, hats etc. can be purchased in Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure.

Outdoor hurling training for all teams has finished for the season.

The indoor underage hurling will resume in late October.

Please keep an eye on the club Facebook for exact details in the coming weeks.

On Saturday some of our young hurling teams took part in the end of year mud run held at the Old Foundry. This was a great team bulding experience for the players who were split into four teams with the orange team coming out the eventual winners.

The team enjoyed a great season this year and are looking forward to the 2017 campaign.

Thanks to all the organisers of the event especially Dan, Sharon, Ray and Angela for providing the refeshments after the mud run.

Bingo continues every Monday in Arena 7. The Jackpot this week is €2700. Doors from 8pm. Eyes down 9pm. All welcome.
