St Michael’s minors face Gaoth Dobhair in Northern Board semi-final

St. Michael’s Notes

All County League

Our next All County League games are at home to St. Eunans on the 9th October.

Junior Championship Semi Final

The Club will host Downings v Letterkenny Gaels in the Junior A Semi Final at The Bridge on this Saturday evening the 24th September with the Throw in at 5.30pm.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto

There was no jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last.  The numbers drawn were 3,8,12,13,14,18.  The Match 5 winner was Thomas Cullen Termon.  This weeks Jackpot be €2600.

The Club would like to thank Brian and Margaret Anne Dolan, Molly’s Bar Dunfanaghy, Seamus Sweeney Kildarragh Construction Philadelphia, Shaun Langan Creeslough Pallets and Michael McColgan Dunfanaghy for their continuing sponsorship of the lotto jackpot, it is very much appreciated.

Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

St. Michael’s Bingo Session

The €100 on the 5th Game at the Bingo Session in Dunfanaghy on Sunday night last was shared by Margaret Ann O’Reilly Cashelmore and Ann Lafferty Creeslough, the €100 on the 10th Game was won by Patricia Hunter Ards Creeslough.

Every house New Car if you check on 45 Numbers or less with the Lucky number in the Panel and also called in the first five numbers of that game.

The Magic Number from 1 to 90 is drawn out every Sunday night before the bingo begins.  In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €2600. The single book is €8, Double, Double Book €12, Sheet €2. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre.

Pitch Gates

All Managers and everyone else who uses the Club Naomh Micheál Pitch at The Bridge in are asked to please close the Gate as they leave.

Congratulations

Congratulations to our North West neighbours Milford on winning the All County League Division 2 Title recently.

We look forward to seeing them at The Bridge next year.

SOS for Photographs!
Nicola is currently gathering photographs for the clubhouse. If anyone has ANY team photographs from winning senior, reserve, u21 or any underage teams in league/championship/Gaeltacht she would really appreciate if you let her know. All hard copies of the photos will be returned to you safely once we make a copy of them or likewise photos can be emailed to secretary.stmichaels.donegal@gaa.ie
Please spread the word as the team photos required date back to 1967!!

Club Gear

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michaels club gear in children and adult sizes.

Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

St. Michael’s Minor Board

U8s and U10s
U8s & 10s had a very enjoyable blitz last Saturday morning at the Bridge with Downings and Cloughaneely.  U8 training continues as usual on Thursday @ 6-7pm.Bus leaving Creeslough 5.45pm.  Bus €3.

U13s
St Michael’s U 13s played Glenswilly Bs at home at the Bridge last Friday evening .The boys demonstrated great team effort and had a very convincing win . Their last match in the Group is at home to Mc Cumhaills Bs this Sunday evening Sunday September 25 th @7pm . Come along and support the boys

Minors
The Minors play Gweedore at the Bridge this Fri evening September 23rd at 6pm in the Northern Semi Final . This is a big match as winning this will bring us to a County final . Please come along and support the boys.
