A young Donegal woman has reached the finals of Miss Bikini Ireland.
Alannah Harrigan, from Burnfoot, is delighted with the experience she is getting from the competition.
“I enjoy fitness and eating healthy and like the way the contest promoted different body types living a healthy lifestyle. Also the contest is over period of time which I liked because we get to know the other contestants and the judges.
So far the experince has been amazing and we have had workshops , meetings and events to attend. They are taking small group of us now to do different tasks. Some of the girls the last day got the make up task and you only find out on the day in the location what your task is,” she said.
The finals are on the 14th of October in the Regency Hotel Dublin.
The launch party is two weeks before the final which will also be a good night with friends and family . Voting is 50% judges vote and 50% public vote by text . “I would really love the support of the people of Donegal support and I appericate all the support I have gotten so far. It would also give me a good platform for the final,” added Allanah.
The winner gets the opportunity to represent Ireland in the Dominqe Republic at Swimsuit USA .
The contest is being filmed and should be on Sky Channel191 around Christmas.
