Finn Harps clash with St Pat’s postponed due to waterlogged pitch

Finn Harps clash with St Patrick’s Athletic has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

There has been torrential downpours over the last number of days, and that has meant the playing surface at Finn Park has now been deemed unplayable.

The match referee made the decision shortly after 7.15pm, much to the surprise of Harps officials who feel the surface was OK for the game to proceed.

A number of St Patrick’s Athletic supporters have made the long journey north and are furious the match has been postponed at such late notice.

It is yet another game Harps will have to re-fix, as the fixtures continue to pile-up for Ollie Horgan’s side.
