Mrs Brown’s Boys have put Donegal on the map once again.

Three generations of the O’Carroll family appeared on tonight’s Ray Darcy Show on RTE television.

Dad Brendan, son Danny and grandson Jamie all appeared on tonight’s show and raved about the magic of Donegal.

Brendan first of all apologised for Jamie’s accent as he explained he lived in our lovely county.

And Danny quickly interjected by saying the Donegal accent had recently ben voted the coolest in Ireland.

Jamie let a shout out to all his classmates in fourth class at Lurgybrack National School.

He also revealed how he loved playing at right back for his local soccer team Lagan Harps.

Grandfather Brendan moved the audience when he revealed how Jamie had been really brave after being hit with a ball during a match and was later diagnosed with diabetes in hospital.

“He’s a great guy and he’s coping with it really well,” said Brendan of his Donegal grandchild!
