Relief as ‘Lucky’ dog makes it home

Lucky the dog was found in the Kirkstown area of Letterkenny last week, and following an appeal issued by Sheila McMenamin, she made it home to her owner by the next day.

Shiela was especially anxious to get her home as it seemed as though she may recently have had pups.

Fortunately a Donegal Daily reader with a sharp eye spotted our appeal and immediately made contact with Shiela, and Lucky was on her way home the very next day.

Although Shiela’s kids are missing their furry friend, everyone is delighted that she’s back home.
