Daniel fronts new video about gas safety – and it’s hilarious!

Daniel O’Donnell stars in a new safety campaign launched by Gas Networks Ireland in which he turns up at his biggest fans house and offers to look at her gas boiler – only to be kicked out!

A mere five hours after Daniel uploaded it on his Facebook page, it has over 111,000 views and 2,400 likes!

Daniel steps into Mary’s sitting room, which is full of Daniel O’Donnell merchandise, with pictures of him printed onto cushions, portraits of him on the wall, and even a cake with his face carefully etched onto it with icing!

Mary mentions that her house is cold as her gas boiler has been on the blink.

Daniel then offers to ‘have a wee look’ at her broken boiler, to which she sternly responds ‘I’d like you to leave!’ while snatching away his cup of tea.

A safety message then reads ‘never use an unregistered gas installer – even if it’s Daniel O’Donnell’.

Although the video is comedic, it also communicates a very serious message.

Gas Networks Ireland say; “The premise of the campaign is simple, you should never use an unregistered gas installer to carry out work on your gas appliances, such as gas boilers, no matter how seemingly convenient or tempting it may be.”

Perhaps this could be a new career path for our Kincasslagh crooner?
