GAA: Kilcar face first Senior Championship final in 23 years

Kilcar GAA: There is a great buzz around the parish as we prepare for our first Senior Championship final in 23 years this Sunday at 4pm in Ballybofey in what will be a tough match against a talented Glenswilly side that are no strangers to county finals in recent seasons, the very best of luck to the lads on Sunday.

Well done to Paddy McBrearty and Ryan McHugh on their All Star nominations and to David McShane on making the Ireland Masters panel to play Australia.

Club Meeting

This month’s club meeting will be held in Áislann Chill Chartha on Monday 10th at 8:30pm, all welcome.

Ten Week Development Draw

Our annual Club Development 10 Week Draw starts on Sunday 23rd October tickets available locally and online on our website please support this important fundraiser for the club.

Underage

Our Under 16s were defeated by 5-11 to 2-12 in their Championship play-off against Four Masters in Mountcharles on Sunday evening.

We have Club gear on sale in Áislann Chill Chartha with adult and kid’s club home jerseys, half zip tops, polo shirts,  kit bags, shorts, bobble hats now in stock we now have a verity of flags in stock. You can also now buy club merchandise online via our website.

We have 228 members on our FREE mobile app if you would like to sign up just follow these steps to download your free team App for CLG Chill Chartha.

  2. Search for Team App
  3. Install Team App to your phone

  5. Log in and register for the CLG Chill Chartha Club app.
  6. You will receive an email notification when you are added you to the system.

Lotto

There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot so next week’s Jackpot is €2,600 this week’s numbers were: 11, 17, 26 and 28 winners were: €50 Susan Molloy, Castlecarn €30 Mary Breslin, Largy €20 Pamela Bonner, Kilbeg and Nora Byrne, Roxboro. Club Bingo Jackpot €8,200

There was no winner of the Jackpot so it’s now €8,200 on 45 numbers; Please note that Club Bingo is on in The Parish Hall on Saturday night at 8:30pm so please support to be in with a chance of winning the Jackpot and thanks to all who continue to support our Bingo!
