Lagan Harps FC News: Our men’s team drew 1-1 away to Convoy Arsenal. Kenny Doran was the scorer. This Sunday they are home to Kilmacrennan Celtic with a 2.00pm kick off.

Our U18 girls progressed to the next stage of the WFAI national cup with a battling 3-1 win over Yeats Utd, Zoe Green (2) and Danielle Mc Devitt were the scorers.

Our U16 boys progressed to the next stage of the national cup with a fine 5-1 win over Keadue Rovers. Jack Parke, Oran Downey, Dean Murray and Caoimhin Wheeler were among the scorers.

Despite some good football, our U12s lost out to Carndonagh in the National Cup. After a 1-1 draw they lost on penalties. Evan Rodgers scored the goal in a great team performance.

The U12 girls missed out on the national finals when they lost 1-0 to Buncrana and drew 1-1 with Yeats Utd in the North West area finals. Lucy Canning was the scorer. The girls had previously won the Donegal area and lost out to Buncrana on penalties in the Ulster area final.

Our U14s put up a good performance, before losing 1-0 away to league leaders Cappry Rovers.

Our U10s and U8s were in blitz action against Fintown Harps on Sunday morning.

In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 1, 3, 19 and 20. 17 people had two numbers. Rosemary Wallace was drawn out and won €50. Next week’s jackpot is €7225.
