An Inishowen playground has been given a complete makeover after winning a paint competition.

Ballyliffin Tidy Towns entered the Dulux “Let’s Colour” competition and won 100 litres of paint!

Coyles Arrow Store (Dulux Suppliers) delivered the paint as well as some tips on the best way to make the paint last longer.

“Our coastal village ‘play ground’ is used by the entire Inishowen region, not just local families. It was beautiful when first launched (several years ago). However, over time the wooden swings and play sets became really old looking, dull and shabby.

The Dulux paint has transformed and rejuvenated our playground and once again it has become appealing, fun and stimulating for the children using it,” said Ann Harkin, chairperson of the local group.

The group welcome everyone to Ballyliffin to enjoy the beach, the scenery and of course the playground!

The group has just launched Ballylffin Tidy Towns Calendars – please support us!
