TV show has allowed people to see the real me – Daniel

Daniel O’Donnell has said people’s opinions of him changed after his B&B Roadtrip TV series.

He said the TV show, which returns to RTTE in January, allowed people to see a different side to him that wasn’t as serious.

He said “I met a man on the street the other day and he said to me ‘I really enjoyed that TV show and I never knew until then that you have a very dry wit.

“That made me think that it’s funny how people, who never come to our show, would really see that side of me.

“Perhaps in interviews, one does not always come across as you really are and this shows the lighter side for all of us to see,” he said.

Daniel has enjoyed a length break off but returns to the stage in the coming days when he starts a tour of the US and Canada.

The Kincasslagh star added “When you get back into it after the break, you get the extra energy to do all the things with even greater enthusiasm.”
