BUSINESS: A Donegal business is bringing authentic Italian cuisine to your doorstep – thanks to their incredible Woodfire Pizzas.

Fire and Slice, located in Letterkenny have launched their exciting new venture which has pizza enthusiasts all over the North-West excited.

Fire and Slice have recruited a Pizza Chef that trained in Italy for over ten years – and is now an expert in creating delicious Woodfire Pizzas.

For anybody that has holidayed in Italy, or regularly frequents the beautiful country, the common theme is how amazing authentic Italian Pizza is.

Well now you don’t have to go to Milan, Rome or Naples – as amazing Italian pizza is now at your fingertips.

Owner of Fire and Slice, Luke Johnston told Donegal Daily, “We’re excited to bring Letterkenny its first Woodfire Pizza.

The dough is made from finest Italian flour and our incredible tomato sauce is made with tomatoes grown on Ballyholley farm.

“We’re mixing the best of local produce with the best from Italy and all our herbs and local veg come from Ballyholey farm – while our toppings come from Italys best ingredients!

“In order to create the best Pizza, we use Killeen dried hard wood which is sourced from Carndonagh, and we have a Pizza Chef that trained in Italy and worked there for ten years

“The oven is only heated by the wood – and to celebrate our launch this Thursday – we’ve decided there will be no charge for pizza, instead all donations will go towards the Donegal Cancer bus and the Donegal Hospice.”

The launch of the FREE Fire and Slice giveaway will take place outside Larkins shopping complex (Directly across from McDonalds) from 5:30-9:30

Luke added, “We will be at Ballyholey Farm shop in the near future with our special ‘Ballyholey Farm Pizza’.”

Opening hours Thursday-Sunday 5:30-9:30
