McElhinney’s Stores have two positions to fill at their Ballybofey store.

The first is an E-Commerce Administrator.

Job Description

This role primarily involves updating our wonderful online product range across multiple product lines, writing persuasive product descriptions, typing and editing.

Our ideal team member will have:

You to be articulate, with excellent written English and the creative ability to write descriptions of products
The ability to pay strict, rigorous attention to detail
A proactive approach & ability to work on your own initiative
Good organisational skills & ability to work to deadlines
Excellent IT skills including Word and Typing; knowledge of Photoshop would be beneficial
A good knowledge of and genuine interest in online retailing
Flexibility to participate in other projects/duties that may be outside the standard remit of this role.

The second vacancy is a Marketing & Social Media Executive

The job will be located in our Ballybofey store and the positions offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Job Description

This diverse job is key to the McElhinney’s Omni-channel retail experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing McElhinneys digital marketing presence across all social media platforms, along with supporting and co-ordinating instore events and promotional activities. If you thrive off working in a vibrant and very busy environment, and you would like to be part of creating the “McElhinney’s Magic” team then this could be the opportunity for you.

Online responsibilities include:

Content creation, scheduling, and performance analysis for social platforms
Own and manage the social engagement calendar
Develop and manage customer engagement strategies,
Manage and monitor all aspects of paid media including the creative development process & performance
Collaborate with the marketing team and business managers, buyers and other key stakeholders to create relevant content for offers, brands or events.
Compile and shoot product imagery for social postings instore
Support the constant development of McElhinneys digital brand and communications strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall company, brand and website strategy.
Seek out external opportunities to grow our presence both online and offline
Help maintain content on the Bridal Rooms website.
Instore Responsibilities include:

Create an Omni-channel marketing strategy which delivers support to the eCommerce team, managers and buyers with focus on departmental new brands, launches and seasonal events.
Manage all aspects of project delivery from initial briefing through concept to event activation and results review.
Develop events which can be launched online and offline, increasing both awareness and sales
Partner closely with eCommerce team, managers and buyers to align weekly focuses both instore and online.

We’d describe our ideal candidate as having:

A higher level qualification in a relevant area
2 years of experience in a similar role
1 years’ experience in Event management
Proven capability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Strong commercial acumen
Excellent content writing experience
Computer literate over a variety of software packages.
You should also have:

The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused deadline-driven environment
Photography and/or graphic design skills
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid understanding and interest in current trends and attuned to the fashion and retail industry.
