The Banks in Mullaghderg is to host a Road Safety information day to coincide with the National slow down day, tomorrow, Saturday the 22nd October.

CLG Naomh Muire, The Road Safety Authority, An Garda Síochána , Donegal Motor Club supported by Donegal Local Development Company (DLDC) and Donegal County Council are hosting a great day of information and advice on Saturday October 22nd 2.30pm- 5.30pm at the Banks Mullaghderg, Kincasslagh.

The Road Safety Authority Simulator will be in attendance and a host of Rally Cars and drivers such as Gary Jennings, Manus Kelly, Declan Boyle and officials from the Donegal Motor Club will be on hand to give great advice on driving for sport in a safe and controlled environment.

Rally driving is a popular sport and alongside other sports where there are hazards those involved in its promotion wish to encourage those who wish to take part to do so in the confines of the Sport.

CLG Naomh Muire and those involved have put in weeks of work in order to present this event. The aim is to highlight positive and safe driving as well as pointing the direction of where driving for sport can take place.

The local Secondary Schools students, Rosses, Gaoth Dobhair agus Cloich an Fhaola are encouraged to attend and a big and interested crowd is expected.

All welcome!
