Saint Vincent de Paul have launched an urgent aid appeal for Syrian refugees.
Donations are very much appreciated, and can be made between 11am and 4pm Monday to Saturday at Northwest Furniture and Flooring in Ballyshannon (facing Garda Station), and Bundoran Retail Park (facing Dizzy’s Den).
They are requesting non-perishables such as cooking equipment, bandages, prams, calpol, toileteries, baby milk, sudocream, sleeping bags, and winter clothing.
Lorraine Gallagher from Ballyshannon Parent and Toddler, Breesy, has come up with a great idea to encourage people to donate. Instead of charging the usual €2.50 for the toddler group, she will instead be making collections for the refugees on behalf of Saint Vincent de Paul.
Cash donations are also greatly appreciated.
