Lagan Harps suffer heavy defeat away to Glengad in FAI Junior Cup

Lagan Harps FC News:

Our men’s team suffered a heavy defeat when they went down 7-1 away to Glengad Utd in the FAI Junior cup. Gavin Mc Glanaghy was our scorer. Youngsters Caolan Murray and Jack Parke made their debuts towards the end of the game. This Sunday we are at home to another Inishowen side, Culdaff Fc in the Ulster Junior cup, Kick off is 1.30. Our u/14’s lost 5-0 away to Fintown Harps but our u/12 reserves won 4-1 away to Fintown. Scorers were Matthew Peoples, Shay Mc Cole(2) and Jamie Davenport. Our u/8’s and u/10’s were in blitz action against Letterkenny Rovers. In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 2,3,16 and 21. This Sunday there is a charity match in Bonagee at 6.00pm between former Lagan and Bonagee stars. Everyone welcome to what should be a good evenings fun.Three people had three numbers with Mary Mulvaney drawn out and winning €50. Next weeks jackpot is €7275. The club extends sympathy to the families of Shaun Mc Geehan(Corkey), Gerry Dunnion(Castlefin) and Jimmy Doherty(Letterkenny) on their recent bereavements.
