CAPPRY ROVERS U16’s

Cappry Rovers were away to Lifford Celtic on Saturday and claimed a narrow 1-0 win with Evan McBride scoring the only goal of the game. They are still unbeaten and are grinding out results which is a sign of a good team.

CAPPRY ROVERS U14’s

Cappry Rovers dropped their 1st points in the league when they were held scoreless away to Convoy Arsenal on Thursday evening. They are still unbeaten however and are still top of the league.

CAPPRY CRUSADERS U14s
Cappry Crusaders U14’s welcomed Glencar to Cappry Park on 22/10/16 at 11am. In perfect conditions we had a lively start to the game with an early strike from distance by Keelan Browne cancelled out shortly afterwards by an equally good strike by Glencar. Our boys have been playing well as a unit of late, solid at the back, industrious in midfield, and creative going forward. Browne scored an individual goal of quality with a lob from distance and a third finished by Liam Thomas after a great cross from the corner by Jason McElchar left Cappry in front 3-1 at the break. The second half saw all 17 Cappry players play their part with Kyle O’Donnell working hard in the wing and Oisin Doherty, Sean McGroary, Nathan Clohessy and Declan Slevin bringing energy on the pitch! Jason McElchar saw another raking cross from wide deceive the keeper and go in off the far post to make it 4-1 Cappry! Both keepers had great games, the Glencar keeper making 4 quality saves with Daniel Crawford making an outstanding save in the dying minutes to see it end 4-1 to Cappry. Thanks to Martin Hunter and Glencar for a great game!
CAPPRY ROVERS U12’s

Our under 12’s were back in action this evening (Monday) when Drumkeen Utd visited Cappry Park. Cappry dominated from start to finish and ran out comprehensive 8-0 winners with Josh McMenamin (3), Andrew Murray (2),Luke McGlynn, Shaun McMenamin and Shaun Ward scoring the goals and continuing their great run.

CAPPRY CRUSADERS U12’s

The Crusaders were back in action when they welcomed Ballybofey Utd Colts to Cappry Park. Cappry were dominant in the 1st half but couldn’t get the break through goal. Ballybofey scored with what was their only shot on goal in the 1st half. Cappry upped the pressure in the 2nd half and were back on level terms when Martin Mbuli scored his 1st of the match. They were soon ahead after Martin scored his 2nd of the day. Cappry were unable to score again and the game ended 2-1.

CAPPRY ROVERS MEGA DRAW
Cappry are holding a mega draw where you could win a Skoda Octavia Ambition along with some more great prizes. Also included with each ticket is a 20% off voucher for McElhinney’s Store which should come in handy coming up to Christmas. The draw will take place 29th December. Tickets are priced at €20 and all funds raised will go towards an Astro turf pitch. If you’re interested in a ticket contact Danny 087 7797581.
