Malin Gaa Notes

Malin Seniors                                                                                                                                                                     –

Malin senior team’s season is now over after Sean MacCuimhaills didn’t fulfil the fixture last weekend, the team finished the league in third place on 20 points. The club also got to the semi-finals of the senior championship and it has to be said the team had a very good year and Terence Coulhoun and his management team as well as all the players on our senior and reserve panels must be congratulated for their efforts this season.

Mr & Mrs

On Saturday 29th October we hosted our third Mr & Mrs for the Club and it was another fantastic night of good “clean” entertainment and hearty laughs. Well done and a massive thank you to all of our six couples: Kieran & Caroline White, Neil Gerard & Katie Duffy, Pat & Elaine McLaughlin (F), Danny & Evelyn Doherty (R), Terence & Fiona McLaughlin (H) and Sean & Susan McLaughlin (H). A special congratulations to our new Malin GAA Mr & Mrs 2016 Terence & Fiona McLaughlin (H) who came out winners in the end, they will now get a weekend break in the Clayton Hotel, Galway. Danny & Evelyn Doherty were our runner ups, who won a €50 Voucher for the Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa. Special thank you to the Committee who organised the Mr & Mrs, a lot of weeks of work goes into organising any Fundraiser but the success on the night made it all worthwhile. A massive thank you to our volunteer bar staff on the night who dealt the best they could with the big crowd. Thank you to the Malin Hotel & Ballyliffin Lodge for sponsoring prizes. Thank you to our MC Kevin Gallagher and our sound man Gary Redmond. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the night, we have no doubt you got a good laugh for your money!
