DDTV: Viewers were left spooked on Halloween night when popular TG4 weather presenter Caitlín Nic Aoidh was struck by lightning live on air!

Caitlín, from Gortahork, has been with TG4 since July 2014.

The weather presenter was mid-forecast when she was struck by a flash of lightning and then disappeared from the screen.

That left viewers completely stunned, as the broadcast continued for a number of moments in an eerie silence.

Caitlín’s whereabouts have not yet been established and fear for her safety is increasing with every passing moment!!
