The quest for turkeys continues at Barnhill, combined with the super weather and the run down to Christmas the competition is continuing at a pace.

The latest winners, playing the back nine were Joan Murphy with 18pts, the runner-up Kay Kelly on 16pts(bot). Another set of winners Angela Bradley 20pts, in second place Anne Cannon 19 pts.

Congratulations ladies, there are still more to win!

Over 200 horses ran in the ever popular ‘Night at the Races’ all horses generously sponsored by the club members. Even though the punters were scarce on the ground the betting was hot and heavy. A very enjoyable and in some cases a lucrative night was had by all.

This of course would not have happened but for the hard work of Anne Condon who as usual works tirelessly for the club.

Over 2000 euros was raised .All profits going to benefit the course and club. Thanks to all who sponsored races and horses, also to all who turned up on the night. A special thank you to Anne Condon whose never ending enthusiasm is an example to us all
