Sinead Dillon, Principal Consultant at Fujitsu, has been named as a finalist in the upcoming Women in Business NI Awards.

Sinead, who is from Letterkenny, was shortlisted for the ‘Best in Professional Services, Corporate’ award for her work at the global ICT solutions company.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry and is responsible for developing and growing Fujitsu’s new business in the private and public sector in Northern Ireland.

She is Vice Chair of NI’s British Computer Society helping to promote IT and innovation, and leads Fujitsu Gender Network in Northern Ireland.

The Women in Business Awards celebrate the hard work and achievements of successful, entrepreneurial and inspiring businesswomen – and the valuable contribution they make to economic life in Northern Ireland.

Commenting on the Women in Business Awards shortlist, Fujitsu’s Managing Director Greg McDaid, said:

“We are delighted that Sinead is a finalist in the prestigious Women in Business Awards. With a range of shortlisted candidates from the banking and law sectors, we are proud that one of our most experienced consultants is representing the ICT industry.

“As well as a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion, Sinead’s professionalism, boundless enthusiasm, and positive attitude is instrumental in delivering various innovative projects we are undertaking across the business. I wish her and all those nominated the best of luck at the upcoming gala awards ceremony.”

This year’s Women in Business Awards will be held at the Ramada Plaza in Belfast on Thursday 17th November 2016.
