Well done to the U13 girls who won the county championship yesterday in Burt. They beat Buncrana by 4.04 to 2.04. This was a very hard fought match played in not great weather conditions but our girls battled bravely all through the hour in what was a great team performance. Glenfin were 1.02 to 0.00 up after 14 minutes but Buncrana scored a goal and a point to put 1 point between the sides after 18 minutes.

Glenfin game back strong scoring another goal and 2 points before halftime to put them in at the break 2.04 to 1.01 up. An early second half goal for Glenfin left Buncrana with a big job on their hand and to their credit the never gave up. But a second Glenfin goal on the 9 th minute and with some great defending by Glenfin left Glenfin Champions on a score of 4.04 to 2.04.
