Jim McGuinness has helped his Celtic U20’s side to a record win in the Scottish Youth Cup at the weekend.

McGuinness, helps coach the Celtic U20 side as part of his on-going efforts to get his UEFA coaching badges.

He combines his role as a Sports Psychologist with the club with coaching he does with the Celtic youth team on a daily basis.

At the weekend, Celtic progressed into the next round of the Scottish Youth Cup, thanks to a sensational 21-0 win over Edinburgh City.

The young hoops were 10-0 up at half-time, and were simply too good for their junior opponents.

Celtic have amassed some of the best talent from all over the world and are hot favourites to win the Scottish Youth Cup again this year.

Edinburgh City could have done with adopting one of McGuinness’s famed defensive structures in order to make the game a little more competitive.
