St Mary’s GAA club invite members to official launch of its ‘Smoke Free’ initiative

ST. MARYS GAA CLUB CONVOY GOING SMOKE FREE

St. Marys GAA Convoy Healthy Club Project Team along with their Executive Committee would like to formally invite you to the

Official Launch of our ‘Smoke Free Club’
on Saturday the 19th of November 2016 at 11am

Earlier this year our Club Executive passed the motion to become a Smoke Free Club when the proposal was brought to them by the Healthy Club Project Team. This is a great initiative that promotes healthy lifestyles but also hopes to discourage our younger players and members Sent from my iPhone
We are delighted that we will be joined on the day by our County Chairman Sean Dunnion, Aoife O Brien National Healthy Club Co-ordinator in Croke Park, a local GP, representatives from HSE Health Promotion Dept. and some of our very own Local County GAA Stars who will also make an appearance on the day showing the commitment and focus to continue to drive positive attitudes towards promoting healthier life styles.
The launch will last approximately one hour and refreshments will be served on the day.
So why not join us on Saturday the 19th at 11a.m at St. Marys Club Convoy and feel free to bring the family along too. There will also be an information stand for people who would like to try and give up smoking and QUIT.ie has provided free packs for people which has loads of advice and useful tips to help them give up smoking. These will also be available on the day.

Club AGM is being held on Thurs 1st December at 7.30pm in the clubhouse. Please come along we would love to see more new faces on our Committee.

St Mary’s presentation night will take place on Nov 19 th in Arena 7
