Glenswilly to host its AGM on Sunday week, November 20th

AGM

This year’s CLG Gleann t-Súilí AGM will be held on Sunday 20th November 2016 at 3pm in the clubhouse. Letters were posted out on Thursday 3rd Nov.
Nominations and motions should be returned to Aisling McDaid, Glenkeeragh, New Mills, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. The deadline for returns is Thursday, 17th Nov at 5pm.

The club would like to urge people to get involved and help out in your local Gaelic club on both match days and at underage level.

Seniors/Reserves

Seniors finished their season of with a win against Dungloe in the league and finishing 7th overall in the Allsports Division 1 league on 13 pts. Final score Dungloe 3-7 Glenswilly 3-9. The reserve game was cancelled.

The Barney Pat Memorial Cup – €2,500 in prizemoney

Glenswilly GAA annual card drive is on Friday night the 18th of Nov with €2,500 in prize money. Please come along tickets €25. The Barney Pat McDaid memorial cup will also be presented to the winner. Please spread the word to anybody plays 25 should be a great nights craic.

U13 girls

Congrats again to the U13 girls who beat Four Masters in the County C Final on Saturday last in Glenfin. Ann Marie McDaid and her backroom team did a fantastic job with the girls this season and came out on top in a brilliant game of football. Well done girls.

Underage Presentation

The annual Underage presentations will take place on Sunday 4th Dec in the Club hall at 5pm.

Goalkeeping course

There will be a goalkeeping course in the club hall on Monday next, November 14th at 7pm. Any manager should let their goalkeeper know about the course. The course will be given by former Donegal goalkeeper Paul Callaghan.

National Club Draw 2017

Club will be looking for volunteers to sales tickets for this draw. Each ticket will be entered into 3 draws (National Croke Park draw/ County Board Draw/ Glenswilly GAA club Draw) Cost per ticket is €10. The Club will be put up 3 cash prizes. County Board prizes in the National Club Draw 2017 Prize fund will amount to €2,500, made up of 1 x €1000 2 x €500, 5 x €100.

Bingo

Bingo continues in the hall each and every Wednesday starting at 9pm with more than €2,000 in prize money each and every Wednesday.

Lotto

The winner of last week’s lotto was Peter McFadden of Breenagh who matched three numbers. Please continue to support the club lotto which are available in most local outlets.
