Traffic Alert: A broken down truck is causing a minor traffic disruption this morning in Castlefin.

The vehicle broke down outside the Garda Station in Castlefin on the main road from Ballybofey to Lifford.

Emergency breakdown services are currently en-route to attend to the vehicle.

There has some traffic disruption due to this incident, and motorists are advised to avoid the area for the time being – until the truck is moved away from the scene.

It is not yet known how long that may take, so motorists are being advised to avoid the area if at all possible, and use alternative routes.

UPDATE: The AA Roadwatch have announced that all lanes of the N15 have been reopened in Castlefin following the removal of the truck.
