Raphoe Boxing Club

Congratulations to Club boxers Dennis Lafferty and Orin McDermott, and Coach Gerard Keaveney who represented an Irish Selection during a 6-day trip to Philadelphia. Both boxers turned in vintage performances on Friday night at the major tournament in Essington. Dennis and Orin recorded hard earned wins. Well done boys and Gerard from all at the Club.
On Saturday 19th November all roads will lead to Deele College Sports Pavilion when the local club will host the Ulster and Connacht All Stars. Head Coach, Gary McCullagh has pencilled in 14 star-studded contests that will feature many Ulster and Irish Boxing Champions.
Sincere thanks go to all the generous business people of Raphoe and surrounding areas for their continued sponsorship of this annual tournament. It is greatly appreciated. First bell will be at 8pm sharp and as a big crowd is expected, patrons are advised to be in their seats early.
A sincere thank you goes to local man Martin Conlon, Cathedral Hill for all his help with boxing club business. It is greatly appreciated by all at the local club.
