A Co Donegal Travel Agency has scooped a major award at the annual Travel Centres Ireland Conference which was held in the Mullingar Park Hotel.

Letterkenny’s Liberty Travel scooped the best ‘Cruise Agency of the year’.

The awards are voted by cruise providers Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruise, Sunway Cruise, Thomson Cruise and MSC cruise.

So it’s excellent to be recognised by these companies for the excellent work we do.

The theme for the awards ceremony was ‘All things Irish’ to mark the anniversary of 1916.

Carolyn Davis, Director of Liberty Travel told Donegal Daily, “Travel Centres Ireland is the largest consortium of independently owned, licensed and bonded travel agents with over 80 outlets located throughout the country.

“I am delighted to be the recipient of Cruise agency of the year, it recognises the hard work and commitment of my outstanding team to become experts at what they do.’

“None of this would be possible without our fantastic customers, who continually place their trust in us year after year. So on behalf of all our team we would like to say a huge thank you to all of our customers.”
