Malin GAA club to host underage presentation night next Saturday

Malin GAA Notes

Christmas Draw

All underage team players will be selling tickets throughout the paris for our annual Christmas draw with 5 great prizes to be won. The draw will take place on Sunday the 19th of December.

Under 12 Presentation Night

The presentation night will take place next Saturday night at 7:30pm upstairs in the clubhouse.

Scoil Treasa Naofa Bazaar

Malin town school will hold a bazaar on Friday 2nd of December in St. Patricks Hall Malin at 8:00pm. There will be lots of great prizes on the night including bikes, phones, hampers etc. All welcome.

Lotto

The lotto jackpot of €1350 was won by Bridget Harkin, Carnmalin, Malin Head. The numbers drawn were 2-7-6-4-5-3-1. Next week’s jackpot is €500.

AGM

This year’s AGM will take place on Friday the 9th of December in the clubhouse.

Level 1 Coaching Course

Well done to all who attended the level 1 coaching course held in the club grounds last weekend.

Underage

The under 12 girls training has finished for the year.

Facility Bookings

All bookings for sports hall/gym should be made through Susan Byrne 0867832242. All bookings for pitch should be made through Gerard Mc Laughlin 0868704255. All bookings for upstairs/ function room should be made through John Mc Laughlin 0863858654. Remember the clubhouse is available for private functions/parties with stage, sound system, kitchen, bar and toilet facilities – contact John on the above number. Also anyone looking to borrow chairs or other items from clubhouse should also contact John.

The club would like to thank an anonymous donor for a recent donation given to the club towards transport costs.

Club Pool Room

The pool room is open every Saturday and Sunday evenings from 8:00pm to 11:00pm in the clubhouse. All welcome.

Irish Dancing

There will be Irish dancing lessons upstairs in the clubhouse every Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:15pm and every Friday 4:00 to 5:30 for boys and girls from age 3 and upwards. All beginners welcome, competitive and non-competitive dancers. Contact Donna for more details 0862615755.

Club Shop

The last orders for Christmas can be taken up to next Sunday the 6th of November. The Club Shop is open every Saturday from 12.00pm to 2pm and Sunday from 11.20am to 2pm or alternatively contact Susan Byrne on 9370638 or 0867832242. The shop stocks a great range of in all sizes including coats, jackets, hoodies, tracksuits, socks, shorts, hats, gear bags and much more club merchandise. The club Facebook page has a picture of some of the many items available along with a pricelist.

Club Gym

Charlie Byrne Health and Fitness is now running exercises classes in the New Get Fit Gym at the Malin Gaa Clubhouse. Mixed morning classes at 6:30am and 9:30am, Ladies only class at 6:30pm and Indoor cycling at 7:30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Men’s class on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm.  €5 per class.
