So busy was McElhinneys Stores of Ballybofey with requests for sales that their award-winning website crashed.
The team at McElhinneys worked through the night to cope with the demand for online sales.
Black Friday started online at 7pm last night at McElhinneys and due to high levels of traffic their site went offline for a period but was up within an hour.
Staff at the store reported sales coming all over Ireland and around the globe with sales going to Norway, Germany, US, Dubai to only mention a few.
