DDTV: Photographer capture sublime beauty of Northern Lights

Photographer Noel Keating captured the stunning Northern Lights dancing over St. Peter’s Lake on Friday, along with a hauntingly beautiful clip of fog settling in over Ballyshannon as the day drew to a close.

Noel says; “It was just gone midnight standing by the shore at St. Peter’s lake in the freezing cold ( -5) and the Aurora started the beginning of a new day, what a moment this was to be there watching the sky dance with Aurora’s.”

“Later on in the day I managed to capture another beautiful moment, as the sunset and fog that had been covering Ballyshannon all day – raced towards me just like I had anticipated it would… We live among beautiful moments, we just need to stop and take them in… live the moment.”

To keep up with Noel’s work you can follow him on Facebook.
