Here comes Santa Claus… on a funny looking reindeer!

Santa Claus will be arriving in Carrigart this weekend, not on a sleigh with seven reindeer, but on horseback!

Perhaps this is the cowboy edition of Mr Claus, who will be visiting the town on board Bud the Clydesdale horse. Bud will be every bit a part of the attraction as children are invited to feed carrots to him when he arrives.

Santa will be making his entrance at The Carrigart hotel on Sunday 4th December at 4pm.

There is no fee for the children to visit Santa, instead, there will be a donations box with all proceeds in aid of St Vincent de Paul society as is the tradition every year. Children will all receive a gift from Santa.

We can confirm that Bud the horse is not from the North Pole, but from Gordons Bay Carrigart, so he’s well used to the Donegal climate and will be able to direct Santa to his destination this Sunday.
