A company owned by Donegal Senator Brian O Domhnaill has denied it owes a web design company €3,000 in fees.
Fitness Walking Ireland was ordered to pay €2,687.28 plus €130 for costs and VAT at the District Court.
The order relates to work done on the website by a Dublin etc firm more than a year ago.
The company claims it has written several letters to Mr O Domhnaill and Fitness Walking Ireland, which has an address at Main Street, Gortahork, but has received no response.
The website has since been taken down but Fitness Walking Ireland still has a live Facebook page.
It offers suggestions on the benefits of walking and also features a number of TDs and Senators in their gym attire, preparing for charity walks.
In an email to the Irish Daily Mail, Senator O Domhnaill said “Fitness Walking Ireland is not aware, nor have we been presented with, any judgement whatsoever.”
