Donegal county councillor John O’Donnell has appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court charged with alleged assault.
The Kilmacrennan based councillor, who was in court for the hearing, is alleged to have assaulted two people in Letterkenny on February 23rd, 2015.
He did not speak during the brief mention of his case.
Some details of the alleged incidents had been given at a previous sitting of Letterkenny District Court but were not given at yesterday’s brief hearing.
The case was adjourned until the next circuit court sitting in January.
