Local chiropractor taking toys instead of payment for SVDP

Freedom Spinal Health is organising its first annual Christmas Toy Appeal on Friday December 16, with all gift donations going directly to St Vincent de Paul’s Christmas campaign.

In the spirit of seasonal good will, the clinic is calling on new and existing clients to book appointments as normal but instead of paying for their session to simply donate a new toy with a similar value to the treatment.

The aim of Freedom Spinal Health’s ‘Toy per Click’ campaign is to bring a little support to local families in need this festive season.

Chiropractor and Freedom Spinal Health Practice Owner, Anthony Lavin, said: “Our first ever annual Christmas Toy Appeal draws on the true spirit of Christmas and we’re extremely optimistic that the generosity of our customers will make a significant contribution to the St Vincent de Paul Christmas appeal.”

Anthony added: “Christmas is a difficult time for many families in the local community and the toys collected will undoubtedly make all the difference to families across Donegal.

“At Freedom Spinal Health we wanted to do our bit to help those most in need and we’re hoping to collect lots of amazing toys to make Christmas that little bit easier for overstretched parents in need of a helping hand.

“Kind hearted members of the public have also been dropping in toys for the appeal and we would gladly welcome any donations whether from clients of otherwise.”

Freedom Spinal Health at Glenview Retail Park will be open for members of the public to book their appointment and donate their toys from 8am to 2pm on Friday, December 16. Donations can be dropped in on any day from Monday to Friday next week.

Anyone interested in availing of an opportunity to improve their spinal health and contribute to a worthy cause should call the clinic on 074 91 11292.
