TWO Donegal projects have been shortlisted for awards at the Irish Tourism Industry Awards.
The awards ceremony takes place on February 3 at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin.
Unique Ascent is nominated in the Best Adventure Experience. The Falcarragh-based company, founded by Iain Miller, a fully qualified mountain instructor, an approved provider of National Governing Body awards with Mountaineering Ireland and is a registered and insured full member of the Association of Mountain Instructor. Is listed alongside a range of other outlets in the Best Adventure Experience category.
The Earagail Arts Festival is also nominated for the Best Cultural Experience – Small in the awards which, it is said, ‘give recognition to and promote people, companies and organisations – overseas and at home – that have made significant contributions to developing, marketing, selling and delivering improved visitor experiences in Ireland and to increasing the number of visitors from overseas’.
