Ballyshannon Business Chamber were delighted to hold the Big Prize Christmas Draw last Friday night 23rd in Dorrians Imperial Hotel.
The Business Chamber were inundated with boxes stuffed full of entries, and were so delighted how many of the businesses got behind the draw.
The Chamber has worked hard this year, to add a festive cheer to the town from the lights, the market, the street music, the Bonanza draw and a big push on social media, radio and advertising for all of our members.
And there was a great response from people in return, with many comments such as “There was a great community spirit and it is that community spirit that will keep us all going” Brid Kelly, Nirvana restaurant.
The winners drawn were as follows
1st Prize €500 Lorraine Warnock, Cliffony
2nd Prize €300 Tracey Flood, Ballyshannon
3rd Prize €200 Eileen Carr, Donegal Town
4th Prize €3BB 2 D, (Whites Hotel Group) Teresa Judge, Laghey
As you can see from our winners there is only one from Ballyshannon, but the range of entries came from far and wide. There were customers from Manorhamilton, Belleek, Donegal town, Grange, Kiltyclogher, Ballintra and even as far afield as Ballybofey. So it just goes to show that people will travel for the good value, good selection and service that they receive in Ballyshannon.
The Ballyshannon Business Chamber, in conjunction with Erne Enterprise, would like to thank all of all of the businesses and customers who made it a fantastic Christmas, and we urge shoppers to check out the bargains galore that are available this January.
