An Inishowen family are living in fear after another attack on their home overnight.

A large stone was thrown through the window of the house at Millbrae, Carndonagh.

Local county councillor Albert Doherty revealed this is the THIRD time the family have been targeted in recent days.

Last night’s incident happened just after 9.30pm.

Sinn Fein member Cllr Doherty appealed for whoever is behind the attacks to stop.

“The family members, some elderly, were and are traumatised and extremely upset. This is the third such incident in a recent short spell.

“On Sat last, Christmas Eve, a stone was thrown at the home/window at 7.30pm resulting in similar tension, fear and upset.

“I’m pleading to those involved”Please Stop Now!”

“To neighbours, friends, old and young,to parents, please share these incidents and the resultant upsets caused.

“We live in a good place with great residents, with good community people. All our residents ought to feel and enjoy their day in the safety and security of their homes,” he said.
