Donegal band Little Hours, fronted by John Doherty and Ryan Mc Closkey, took to the stage in Dublin last night to play with some of the best contemporary Irish bands to ring in the New Year.

They played alongside Walking on Cars, The Blizzards and Brian Deady.

Previously, Little Hours have played alongside greats such as The Coronas and at huge festivals such as Indiependence.

Little Hours play as thousands attend to ring in the New Year

The 3 Countdown Ball is an annual event held at St. Stephen’s Green South, being broadcast across the world on the RTÉ Player.

The wind and rain didn’t deter fans from having a fantastic time as the atmosphere and quality of music won out over the nip in the air.

President Michael D. Higgins even dropped down to watch from a nearby building.
