Malin GAA club: Young starlet set to be part of Donegal panel for Dr McKenna Cup

The club would like to wish all its members a happy new year, hoping 2017 can be successful on and off the pitch

Dinner Dance

Our Annual Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday 21st January 2017 in the Malin Hotel. Make sure to Save the Date.

Dr McKenna Cup

Christopher McLaughlin is part of the Donegal GAA Senior panel for the upcoming Dr McKenna Cup games. The fixtures are on Sunday 8th of January against Ulster University Jordanstown in MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey at 2:00pm, Sunday 15th of January against Cavan in MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey at 2:00pm and Wednesday 18th of January against Tyrone in Healy Park, Omagh at 8.00pm and all support would be welcome.

Josh Conlan

Well done to Malin player Josh Conlan and his Moville Community College teammates after winning an under 16’s Ulster Schools competition. Josh was instrumental in the final played before Christmas and the club would like to congratulate Josh.

Calendars

The club are featured on a Wild Atlantic Way calendar and are selling these now at the reduced price of €8 from the club shop or any committee member. This would make a lovely present to send to friends or relatives who may be living abroad. Contact John Byrne for further details on 0862507380.

Donegal Yearbook

The 2017 Donegal yearbook is out with every club is featured with reports on county teams and pictures etc. It can be purchased online priced €15 at: http://donegalgaa.ie/product/donegal-2016-yearbook/. The club has a selection available in the Club shop or contact John Byrne on 086 2507380.

 

Club Shop

The Club Shop is open every Saturday from 12.00pm to 2pm and Sunday from 11.20am to 2pm, alternatively contact Susan Byrne on 9370638 or 0867832242. The shop stocks a great range of in all sizes including coats, jackets, hoodies, tracksuits, socks, shorts, hats, gear bags and much more club merchandise. The club Facebook page has a picture of some of the many items available along with a pricelist.

Facility Bookings

All bookings for sports hall/gym should be made through Susan Byrne 0867832242. All bookings for pitch should be made through Gerard Mc Laughlin 0868704255. All bookings for upstairs/ function room should be made through John Mc Laughlin 0863858654. Remember the clubhouse is available for private functions/parties with stage, sound system, kitchen, bar and toilet facilities – contact John on the above number. Also anyone looking to borrow chairs or other items from clubhouse should also contact John.

Club Pool Room

The pool room is open every Saturday and Sunday evenings from 8:00pm to 11:00pm in the clubhouse. All welcome.

Irish Dancing

There will be Irish dancing lessons upstairs in the clubhouse every Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:15pm and every Friday 4:00 to 5:30 for boys and girls from age 3 and upwards. All beginners welcome, competitive and non-competitive dancers. Contact Donna for more details 0862615755.

Club Gym

Get Fit Gym Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are now available for the Get Fit Gym in the Malin GAA Clubhouse. Gym Membership is €120 and only €100 for current club members. The Gift Vouchers can be bought in the gym throughout the week. Vouchers can also be used towards fitness classes, nutritional plans and personal training with Charlie Byrne Health & Fitness.
