THE DONEGAL League rounded off their Oscar Traynor Trophy campaign with a fine 4-0 away win at Sligo-Leitrim last night.
After defeats to Monaghan-Cavan and Inishowen, Brian Dorrian’s team had no chance of making it through to the knockout phase of a competition in which they were semi-finalists last season.
However, a much-changed side showed good promise last night in what was an impressive win by the Donegal side.
Kildrum Tigers pair Damian Crossan and Jamie McKinney were on the mark with Chris Malseed of Drumoghill and Donegal Town’s Eoin Slevin scoring.
