Monday to Wednesday are to be mild, with showers sweeping the country.
Hail, sleet and snow are expected in the North West in Wednesday, but will not hit the South until Thursday.
Temperatures are to drop with highs of 2 degrees from Thursday, with frost expected overnight.
Donegal may get a belated White Christmas!
