THERE WERE six goals in all yesterday in Ballybofey as UUJ overcame Donegal 2-20 to 4-13 in the Dr McKenna Cup.
Donegal’s Under-21s are lining out in the competition and Declan Bonner’s men looked nailed on for the win with goals from Eoghan Ban Gallagher, Micheál Carroll, Brendan McCole and Ethan O’Donnell.
UUJ had taken the lead early through a Daire Gallagher goal and it was one of Donegal’s own, Ryan McHugh, who had the final say of the day, with an injury time goal that gave UUJ the spoils.
